Accessibility Statement
The standards this website is built and maintained to, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.
Our Commitment
Pressure Washing Services of Idaho Inc., doing business as PWSI, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
PWSI is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Measures to Support Accessibility
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of PWSI:
- Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
- Assign clear accessibility targets and responsibilities.
- Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
- Include people with disabilities in our design and testing processes where practicable.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility of PWSI, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Downloadable Documents: Some linked files in formats such as PDF or DOCX may not be fully accessible. We are working to ensure that all downloadable documents meet accessibility standards, but some older files may not yet be fully accessible. If you need a document in an alternative format, please contact us and we will provide an accessible version where reasonably practicable.
Third-Party Content: Links to third-party services and external websites have not been evaluated for accessibility. While we strive to partner with accessible service providers, we do not have direct control over the accessibility of external content.
Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology
PWSI is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers on current versions of major operating systems
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom and text resizing features
- Voice recognition software
- High contrast browser settings
PWSI is not guaranteed to be compatible with older browser versions or assistive technologies that do not support current web standards.
Technologies Relied Upon
Accessibility of PWSI relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Assessment Methods
We assessed the accessibility of PWSI using the following methods:
- Automated testing using pa11y, axe, and WAVE
- Manual review by staff who have completed accessibility training
- Self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria
We take a thorough approach to accessibility testing. Our process combines automated tools with manual review to identify and address potential barriers. While automated tools are a valuable part of our process, they cannot catch every possible accessibility issue. We therefore treat testing as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checklist.
